In the workshop yesterday, we ultimately decided to do a website on contrasting views – as inspired by the Gaza and Sderot example – on a locally based topic.
Topics, which came up, were the following ones:
- Homelessness
- Graffiti
- Arena plans
- Traffic (Would people say something positive about it?)
- Flooding (slightly problematic as it will very likely not be up-to-date, when we will be able to go out and shoot vox pops)
– Bristol crocodile (same problem as with using coverage on the floods)
– Pub or disco? What is your favourite Bristol Pub or Disco? (Not profound enough though)
Furthermore, we have decided on a topic to do it on:
Street Art vs. Graffiti in Bristol
Regarding the implementation, we plan to use interviews with people from the streets, on the one hand, as well as some who are also dealing with it thoroughly, on the other. Therefore, we researched interview partner for pro and con:
